The Long Island Fund for Women and Girls enters the 21st Century optimistic that we can enlarge the vast community of women and men who are committed to making the fund a permanent institution on Long Island.

Every contribution counts. When we asked donors to help us raise money for a matching grant challenge from a generous contributor, contributions ranged from five dollars to twenty five hundred dollars. Every woman can belong to the community of philanthropists who supports LIFWG. Every dollar makes a difference.

Every contribution is important. Your gift will enable LIFWG to continue to provide opportunities for women and girls to achieve their fullest potential. There are many different ways to contribute:

• Mark a Special Occasion
  To honor a special person in your life or celebrate an anniversary, birthday, graduation, wedding or other occasion, you may make a contribution through our secure donations form. LIFWG will acknowledge your gift by sending a notice as you direct.
• Remember a Loved One
  You may make a contribution to honor a lost loved one through our secure donations form. This is a gift that represents a heartfelt gesture while enhancing the programs for women & girls through LIFWG. LIFWG will acknowledge your gift by sending a notice as you direct.
• Workplace Contributions
  You may give to LIFWG through the United Way campaign at your workplace; designate us through donor choice.
• Employee Matching Plan
  Have your employer match your contribution.
• Sponsor activities
  Become a sponsor of the annual "Awards Breakfast" or other event.
• Purchase Products
  Buy pins, commemorative journals, posters, tote bags, note cards, and other items displaying the LIFWG's logo at our Online Store.
• Stocks
  By contributing stock, you may receive tax advantages.
• Insurance
  Specify LIFWG as the beneficiary of a life insurance policy.
• Bequest
  Designate LIFWG as a recipient of part or all of your estate.
