Our next Women Achievers Against the Odds breakfast will be held on October 25, 2012.

We enthusiastically kicked off the 20th anniversary of the Women's Fund of Long Island at our annual Women Achievers Against the Odds Breakfast on October 20, 2011.  We celebrated 20 years of 20/20 vision for women with nearly 700 prominent Long Island attendees coming out to support our organization, our mission and our honorees!  Each attendee received a copy of our beautiful commemorative Tribute Calendar, a delicious package of coffee, compliments of White Coffee Corporation and a lovely tote bag, compliments of Eileen Fisher.

We honored two exceptional Long Island women, Nancy Rauch Douzinas and Jacquie Gettling, who have achieved success despite challenges, as well as two exceptional Long Island high school students, Brea Baker and Elizabeth Schneider, who have excelled as leaders on behalf of women and girls.

The Board and Staff of the Women's Fund of Long Island thank our generous Sponsors, Honorees, Volunteers, Committee Members, Grantee Partners & all of our Supporters for helping us kick off our 20th anniversary celebration in style! 

Through donations big and small, and with the added inspiration of an incredible $20,000 matching challenge from the Rauch Foundation, our Table Appeal brought in a record $30,000 this year! These funds will be used to directly support the women and girls of Long Island through our programs and grants.
